PICTURES
Please note that many of these pictures are "Stitched" which is taking a series of photos and pasting them together to form a panorama. Sometimes this can distort the photo a little.
We hope and think you'll find it both attractive and welcoming as well as comfortable!
Please read the notations next to the photos for further information regarding what you're seeing.

THE LIVING ROOM
Above: A view of the Living Room. The recliner on the left is a La-Z-Boy and the one on the not only reclines it swivels too!
That's a coffee table with a lift-top so it can be used for a laptop or having a meal too! That is one super comfy sofa too!!
Above: Your 43" HD TV. We have now switched over to Roku Sticks which include "Guest Mode". There's also a library of DVDs and bunches of books!
Left: There's an alcove area in the living room and that's where you'll find the GIANT of a desk! We'll have it stocked with all sorts of different supplies that might come in handy to you but it will also be a great place to sit and work on your laptop and there's a surge protector outlet there to make it easy to charge your phone or tablet. On the top shelf, you can see the new modem and router for the free, fast and secure wi-fi.
Below: That's not a reproduction but a genuine old steamer trunk that will hold the pet supplies for our furry canine guests. |
From the far end of the living room looking towards the kitchen:
THE KITCHEN
Most of your amenities are in cupboards but you can see the microwave and Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker. Underneath the microwave cart, there's also a new blender, K-cup brewer, crock-pot, toaster oven, toaster, linens and placemats and such, plus that's where you'll find a BIG container of unopened coffee just for you.
Other kitchen cupboards contain pots, pans, dishes, flatware and on and on and on! |
THE MASTER BEDROOM
It's tough to get pix of little spaces with a point and shoot camera but I managed to get a few reasonable shots of the interior of the master bedroom walk-in closet. It's quite spacious and could be used as a dressing room -- It's even got a full length mirror in there for your convenience.
THE BATHROOM
This is a small bathroom but I worked hard on making it cheerful and very efficient!
It's a happy little room that is stocked with assorted conveniences plus an "endless" supply of shampoo, conditioner, soaps and moisturizer. There was a brand-new "comfort-height" toilet installed in the Fall of 2015. This does have suction-type grab bars in the bath/shower area for a little extra support.

THE "ARIZONA" ROOM

The "Arizona" Room is really a fancy way of saying "Enclosed Patio" :-).
Whatever you want to call it, it really is a great space for all kinds of stuff including BBQ'ing on your brand new propane powered BBQ.
Being an enclosed space, you can sit out there even on windy days and also makes for a comfortable area for a smoker (Smoking is not permitted in the interior of the house and an ashtray is provided for anywhere outside).
The doggie door leads from the kitchen to this space and you can see the second doggie door by the screen door. You can keep one or both closed if you want or leave them open so you pal can go into the backyard as he/she needs.
Please note that there's an overhead fan to keep air moving and twinkle lights all around the outer edge of the ceiling for evening atmosphere.

EXTERIOR SHOTS AND LAUNDRY
I'm not going to crow about the back yard as it's pretty dull and plain but it's great for doggies!
We have put in a 10'x16' new shade canopy and you can put your feet up on the chaise lounge out there. Over time, I'm sure I'll be working on dressing things up outside but for the moment, it is what it is. By the way, that blue door leads to the Laundry Room where there is a washer and dryer for your use. Below is the covered carport -- especially nice if you're here during any of Tucson's hot months! (Please remind me -- just when are Tucson's months not hot? :-) ) |
So very many improvements have gone on even since we opened our doors in January of 2015 and we keep trying to keep up with new photos. Most of the photos here were taken April 2016 and May 2017 with very few exceptions.
